Hi All, What kind of pizza do you like? I like peporoni the best, and cheese. Cheese is tied with Peporoni at my favorite pizza place, however.

I can't like pizza, because it has all that tomato catch up on it, yuk. It always tasted old and rank to me, no matter how fresh it might be. Mom likes it though, and sometimes she orders herself one, but they sell cheese sticks with it, and they're good, and I have one almost every night until they're gone.

Mmm sounds as though a Pizza Party is in the works. Cheese Sticks sounds great and as for Pizza, make mine a Pizza Hut Supreme. Maybe we could take in a movie afterwards. Any suggestions? (oh dear, have I gone "off topic" *worried look - smile*)

Well by the ones who are here now, you haven't, and even if you did, the topic police aren't suppose to come after us in here, after all, this is the safe haven board, people have to be nice here, so maybe we can escape the topic police for a while anyways, looking and listening, and staying alert for the topic police.
wonderwoman ps, what movie did you have in mind?

Post 5 by krisme (Ancient Zoner) on Saturday, 08-Jan-2005 21:05:31

I'm a plain cheese kind of girl with maybe some herbs. Wonderwoman, ever try a white pizza? It's pizza without the sauce. Sounds gross but I actually liked it. As for sides, I'll tame some garlic knots or cinnamon sticks or stuff like that. If there's a pizza party, I'm in.

Post 6 by wonderwoman (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Saturday, 08-Jan-2005 21:22:05

No Krissme, I've never tasted the white pizza, and it's probably just as well I don't, because it's the one fattening thing I don't like, and if I tasted it and liked it, then there would be another good tasting fattening food for me.

This is gonna sound wierd.... But I don't like pizza and for one reason: sauce and you can't get away without it on the pizza. I can't stand tomatoes so thats part of the ingredient for the sauce.

Post 8 by shea (number one pulse checking chicky) on Saturday, 08-Jan-2005 23:43:17

i would have to say my fav would have to be sausage, cheese and lots of mushrooms! yum yum!

As far as the movie to take in, I am not certain. Any ideas? This pizza party is rather enjoyable.

Post 10 by wonderwoman (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Sunday, 09-Jan-2005 23:01:32

I can't think of one either. I'm wracking my brain. I'm gonnasit back and relax for a few minutes, I outdid my self on the what's on your mind topic I started. It was a long story, took a long time, but I had a relaxing place to be while I was waiting for replies to old topis, the creation of new topics, etc, and I got a break from law lord for a few minutes, .hah

Post 12 by anglwings303 (the Zone BBS remains forever my home page) on Monday, 10-Jan-2005 12:06:13

I do like pizza very much, except without the chese! I know, that's weird, but i can't stand chese! The only time i'll eat it on my pizza is if i'm actually at the pizza place eating it. It tastes better that way. lol

Post 13 by wildebrew (We promised the world we'd tame it, what were we hoping for?) on Monday, 10-Jan-2005 12:16:49

Best pizza in Charlotte NC comes from Wolfman Pizza, their Thai chicken pizza with peanut sauce and Thai chicken is to die for (no cheese, no tomato sauce, for the record) and also their cheeseburger pizza that comes with mustard sauce (no tomatoes, well you can skipt them). The best cheese/peppernoin pizza around here would have to be Prtofino's pizza, it's a New York based chain and they're really good, if a bit expensive. I'd say a good horror movie would go well with it .

Goblin,
exactly the type of pizza I was referring to with Portafino's over here, straight out of Italian immigrant gheto in New York, or at least tastes like it, I used to live close to NYC so I know what these things are supposed to taste like, wonderful actually.

I like cheese piza with black olives on it with side of bread sticks with tomato sauce to dip the bread stick in. mmmmmm

Post 18 by Grace (I've now got the ggold prolific poster award! wahoo! well done to me!) on Wednesday, 12-Jan-2005 18:12:42

I would be in agreement to taking in a good horror movie after the pizza party and Jbear, how about sharing a couple of those black olives with me. On the Supreme Pizza I had gotten it was without the olives as most don't seem to fancy them...

Post 19 by bearj (Account disabled) on Wednesday, 12-Jan-2005 20:15:50

if you let me wath the movie with you then i will

Post 20 by bearj (Account disabled) on Wednesday, 12-Jan-2005 20:17:42

ok if i can watch the movie too. lol

Post 21 by Grace (I've now got the ggold prolific poster award! wahoo! well done to me!) on Wednesday, 12-Jan-2005 20:26:51

Why YES! of course Justin you are welcomed to share in the taking in of the movie. Maybe we can sit near each other. I hope you don't mind that when the noise gets really loud and scarry in a horror movie I am given to give a screeching hollar. Mmmm the olives are tasty. Thanks for sharing. Here, have some more bread sticks. They are warm and fresh from the oven.

There isn't much pizza I don't like. We must remember that it is possible to get all the major food gtroups in with this meal.

I love stuffed-crust pizza. lots of cheese. Yaaaay! I like Hawaiian pizza. I know pineapple on pizza doesn't sound appetizing, but I think it's pretty good.

Post 28 by soaring eagle (flying high again!) on Monday, 24-Mar-2008 13:06:36

I love pizza with tuns of toppings. The only thing I can't stand is anchobies.

Post 29 by purple penguin (Don't you hate it when someone answers their own questions? I do.) on Monday, 24-Mar-2008 14:41:20

have to agree about the Hawaiian pizza.

Post 30 by singingsensation (I just keep on posting!) on Monday, 24-Mar-2008 14:58:19

I agree about the anchovies. Although, I don't think that anyone in this world likes anchovies on their pizza. LOL. And I also love stuffed-crust pizza from Pizza Hut!

Many pizzas are good, except for anything barbecue. Used to hate the Mexican pizzas also though now there are some that are tolerable.
The new health pizzas made by the fruit loopy people that contain artichokes, spinach and mushrooms are surprisingly good and they do not have tomato sauce.

And, for what it's worth, I once worked on a software project code named pizza but which project that was I cannot say. For those who don't know code names are just names by which we grunts who actually make the stuff refer to it by, before the marketing bimbs come up with the cuter word for it. Usually has to do with what happened some weekend, and, in the less formal days, copious amounts of substances of various forms being consumed.

And, when doing pizza, don't forget the wings.

Post 48 by ProudAFL-CIOLaborUnionGirl (Account disabled) on Sunday, 24-Feb-2013 18:21:02

How can you eat chicken wings but care if there is meat on your pizza?

Post 49 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Monday, 25-Feb-2013 1:50:37

I love wings as well. I'm always trying new hot sauces. I've never understood why it's not dignified for a woman to like spicy food, but I've heard that crap all my life. As for pizza, I'm one of the weird people who doesn't like cheese. But I'll eat a pepperoni pizza without cheese, or a veggie pizza.

Post 50 by chelslicious (like it or not, I'm gonna say what I mean. all the time.) on Monday, 25-Feb-2013 9:15:35

simple. I love meat, just not on pizza.

Post 51 by Runner229 (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Monday, 25-Feb-2013 11:10:57

I prefer the Chicago style deep dish pizza. Lots of people call me a traitor, being in the Northeast and not liking New York style better. Lol. It is more filling. As far as toppings go I am also a Pineapple fan, with any meat.

Post 52 by LeoGuardian (You mean there is something outside of this room with my computer in it?) on Monday, 25-Feb-2013 15:07:32

I'd never heard that about it not being dignified for a woman to like the spicy things.
The wife just can't handle the hot spices because of her throat. But I know a lot of women who love hot spicy things, hotter'n wings by far, but aren't into wings for some reason. Odd cultural thing there about women and spicy food. My mother cooked spicier than most people I know, and that was back in the 70s. Maybe yet again it's a regional thing.

Post 53 by chelslicious (like it or not, I'm gonna say what I mean. all the time.) on Monday, 25-Feb-2013 16:14:10
